It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for! The Flight Attendant season 2 finally has a premiere date. HBO Max dropped a teaser trailer for the second season today that tells us when the new season is going to start streaming, and what lies ahead for the troubled flight attendant.

The Kaley Cuoco-led series follows Cassie Bowden and her penchant for making bad decisions and getting tangled up in murders. You know, the usual. In the first season, we follow the alcoholic flight attendant as she wakes up in bed to find the man she slept with is dead, but she can’t remember what happened.

Throughout the season the night comes back to her in flashes and we figure out the mystery. By the last episode, the real murderer is caught, Cassie decides to stop drinking, and she is asked to do a side gig as a human asset with the CIA.

Though the beginning of the teaser shows she’s living a new, quiet life in L.A., that quickly changes. Because of course it does. What kind of trouble has Cassie got up to now? We’re about to find out very soon!

The Flight Attendant season 2 coming in April

The Flight Attendant season 2 will begin streaming on HBO Max starting April 21. Entertainment Weekly shared the news, and what we can expect in the new season.

EW reports that season 2 will pick up a year after the end of the first season. Cassie is now living in L.A., has a boyfriend, and is celebrating one year of sobriety. This gal is still traveling the world as a flight attendant while helping the CIA. Her international travels once again get her mixed up in another murder she’s witness to.

Based on the teaser, I think we’re going to see Cassie struggle with herself even more. Though she’s now sober, she’s going to be put in some difficult situations where it may be too hard to resist a drink. Getting caught up in another murder will do that – yikes! Why is this girl a magnet to crimes?

Another interesting twist – the mind world she created is back. But this time instead of speaking to her one-night stand, she’s going to be talking to herself. A very much not sober Cassie. The hardest thing to do is being honest with ourselves, and it seems like that’s what this flight attendant will be struggling with this season.

You can also catch her ever faithful best friend Annie, supportive brother Davey, and government fleeing friend Megan in the teaser. EW also reported we’re going to be introduced to Cassie’s mom in a bigger scale. After seeing the complicated relationship with her dad, I’m sure there’s bound to be more drama with this parent as well.

The Flight Attendant season 2 drops on HBO Max April 21 with two new episodes. The eight-episode season will then continue with another two episodes on April 28, followed by one episode weekly until the finale on May 26.
