Candy cast: Who stars in the Hulu crime-drama?

First, let’s cover the main details — what is Candy about? The upcoming Hulu series is based on a true story. We will follow Betty Gore, a teacher, wife, and mother, in Texas who wanted nothing more than to be part of her small community and make an impact. Unfortunately, Betty was murdered on Friday, June 13, 1980, by one of her closest friends, Candy Montgomery. The motive? That’s what the series will investigate.

To the outside world, it appears as if Candy had it all. Also a part of her community, Candy was a loving wife and mother. What could have possible caused Candy to so violently murder her friend?

That said, who will be portraying Candy and Betty? Melanie Lynskey will be taking on the role of Betty Gore, while Jessica Biel will become Candy Montgomery. I love that we’ll get to see Biel in this genre again as I really enjoyed the actress in The Sinner.
