Two-thirds of the Big Three trilogy is now complete on This Is Us. Before we get into the final member, let’s talk about last week’s episode dedicated to Kate Pearson, and then we’ll get into This Is Us season 6 episode 10 details.

Feeling like her marriage needed a jolt of energy, Kate went to San Francisco to be with Toby. The trip immediately got off to a rocky start when Toby could not pick Kate up at the airport due to a work phone call. The hits kept on coming when Toby had to take another call after spending an intimate moment with Kate in the bedroom. A frustrated Kate even went so far to imagine Toby from a few years prior, the one who always made her laugh.

Despite the imperfect beginnings, things started to take a turn for the positive as the couple explored the city during the day. However, that happy feeling ended when Toby suggested buying a house in San Francisco and even brought Kate to an open house where he secured an appointment with a real estate broker.

Don’t worry, things continued to get worse! At a work party, Toby’s boss mentioned to Kate that he was happy to hear her husband turn down a job in Los Angeles to stay in San Francisco. Later on, the gloves came off as both Kate and Toby took verbal shots at one another, realizing that they are currently happy in all aspects of life besides their marriage.

Cooler heads did not prevail the next morning when Toby continued to push Kate to move the family to San Francisco. In response, Kate went for a walk that ended with a call to Philip as she applied for a teaching position at the school. This will get uglier in the following weeks.
