And off to Hawai’i they go! We officially have this year’s Top 24. American Idol‘s Showstopper/Final Judgment round certainly is appropriately titled. Last night, the judges cut down the number of contestants by more than half. Now the remaining aspiring singers will head to a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawai’i for the live shows.

During the two-hour episode, Idol contestants really did put on some showstopper performances. Jay Copeland sang Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts,” Nicolina Bozzo took on “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele, and Noah Thompson performed “Stay” by Rihanna.

They all did an amazing job and even took on the unexpected challenge of on the spot sing-offs. Like they needed more stress! Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan took on their own challenge and narrowed down the list. So who’s moving forward to the live shows?
