Will Oscar Isaac return for Moon Knight Season 2?

There is no Moon Knight Season 2 without Oscar Isaac. So, will the prolific actor return if the series is renewed? Here’s what we know.

Oscar Isaac has quickly proved himself to be an actor to watch. He’s brought the characters of Steve and Marc alive, and it’s more than an accent change that helps us see a difference between them. He’s captured different mannerisms so we know which character is on the screen at a time.

With just six episodes to the season, we’re already excited to see more. We’re worried about the series ending and then not getting closure on some aspects of the story. However, it doesn’t matter if the show is renewed or not. We’d need to see Isaac return to the screen and reprise the two roles.

Is Moon Knight Season 2 going to happen?

Disney+ hasn’t renewed the series just yet. It’s worth noting that the series was billed as a limited series. Sure, we’ve seen this happen before, and then a renewal notice comes in. For that to happen, a lot of talks need to happen, and for this series we’d need to see Oscar Isaac return.

However, Variety shared some disappointing news. Isaac isn’t contracted to appear in the MCU or any other Marvel properties despite the success of Moon Knight.

He was also only contracted for one season because the series was billed as a limited series. It would be up to Isaac now to agree to extend his contract, but he is a very busy man. It may not be that he doesn’t want to reprise his roles but that he just can’t fit things into his schedule.

We’d love to see more with this character…well, these characters. We’ll now just have to hope that Isaac agrees to return for Moon Knight Season 2 if it happens.
