Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is coming to theaters this Easter weekend. Now the big question is where it will stream afterward.
Harry Potter fans everywhere will be flocking to the theaters to watch the third Fantastic Beasts movie. The Secrets of Dumbledore picks up off the back of reveals made in the second movie, and, as the title suggests, reveals a few secrets from our favorite Hogwarts professor-turned-headmaster.
Not everyone can head to theaters this weekend, though. With so many other great movies out right now, you may be looking at which ones you can wait for streaming. Most movies aren’t heading straight to streaming just yet, but they will eventually. Where will The Secrets of Dumbledore stream online?
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore streaming home
There is one place where the Fantastic Beasts movie is going to head after theaters. You’ll be able to watch the movie on HBO Max.
In 2021, Warner Bros. movies did head to HBO Max for 30 days at the same time as the theatrical release. They then left the streamer but went back on months later. In 2022, the movies aren’t heading straight to streaming with the push to get people back in theaters, but the movies will still head to HBO Max as the first streaming home.
We’re expecting to see the movie hit HBO Max 45 days after the theatrical release. This is especially the case after The Batman is taking just 45 days to go from theaters to streaming. It’s all linked to the 2022 deal to give theaters a 45-day exclusivity window before making movies more accessible to people.
