Shaun calls in Lea to help when a patient’s iron lung stops working in The Good Doctor Season 5, Episode 15. Can she fix it?

It’s never easy relying on machines to help keep you alive. One patient needs to be in an iron lung, but what happens when that lung breaks down? Shaun may need to put the patient into an induced coma, but there is someone who may be able to help.

He decides to call in his fiancee, and I love that he knows that she has expertise here. Sure, she fixes cars, but can her expertise translate into iron lung mechanics? There is a chance that it’s possible.

Will Shaun and Lea do a reality show in The Good Doctor Season 5, Episode 15?

This storyline is designed to introduce us to the niece of the patient. She’s shooting a reality show for Hulu, and she wants to find couples. She thinks that Shaun and Lea would make the perfect couple to include on her show, and it looks like this is all to do with Shaun. People need to see that people like Shaun exist and thrive.

Will it have the opposite effect, though? We’ve seen how hard it can be for others to connect to Shaun when he says everything that he thinks. What could it be like when people see how shows are cut to create the most drama?

While all that goes on, Dr. Andrews has a patient from a group home. The kid has sustained some injuries that will certainly be a cause for concern.
