There’s a new animated movie in town, but we’ve all learned that not all animation is for kids. What about The Bad Guys? Is that suitable for the whole family?

What happens when bad guys want to become good? That’s something Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark, and Ms. Tarantula look into. They’ve been caught after one of their legendary heists goes wrong, and now they want to avoid a prison sentence.

So, it’s time to pull off their biggest con yet. They need to become model citizens, and they’ll work on that with the help of their mentor Professor Marmalade.

It’s easy to think that animated movies are suitable for the whole family, but we know what happened when it came to Sausage Party. So, what about The Bad Guys? Is the movie suitable for the whole family?

The Bad Guys age rating

We need to look at the age rating to get a sense of whether it’s going to be suitable for the whole family. The Bad Guys age rating is officially set at PGThis means that it’s suitable for most children. Those under eight will need parents to be there, but then, would we really send under-eights to the theaters alone, anyway?

There is a little bit of violence and gore, but it’s more along the lines of the cartoons you’ll see for kids on the TV. We just can’t get away from it all, can we? There may also be some frightening scenes for younger kids, but these are similar to scenes you’d see in Scooby-Doo! and other cartoons.

It’s not surprising that the movie is suitable for all children. After all, it is based on a popular graphic novel series aimed at kids. Of course the kids who read the graphic novels are going to want to head to theaters for it.
