The Quest release date, cast, synopsis, and trailer

The Quest release date

The Quest officially premieres on Wednesday, May 11 at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET only on Disney+. In addition to the release date, it is confirmed that the title will have a total of eight episodes, each under an hour in duration.

The 2022 series stars a bunch of brave challengers you’re destined to become huge fans of, especially because they certainly know their stuff when it comes to new adventures.

Mark Ordesky, David Collins, Michael Williams, Rob Eric, and Jane Fleming serve as the executive producers for the title. According to Deadline, Fleming and Ordesky had this to say about their latest project:

"We’re doing something magical that has never been done at this level. We’re taking real people and putting them in a fully realized fantasy story, conceived and built by incredible artisans in every department. It’s an immersive, real-life hero’s journey for these eight normal teenagers, who transform before your very eyes. It’s an exciting new form of storytelling."

The Quest synopsis

Eight teenagers are tasked with repairing the sacred bond between The Fate and Everealm, the magical kingdom where they must carry out their duties. With eight individuals comes eight different ways to accomplish this. These challengers have a lot to learn from one another, but with destiny calling and time running out, will they be able to fulfill the prophecy?

"The Quest is a ground-breaking, immersive, hybrid competition series that drops eight real-life teenagers (Paladins) into the fantastic, fictional world of Everealm, where they must save a Kingdom by fulfilling an ancient prophecy. Throughout the eight-episode series, these heroes are immersed in a fantasy world come to life complete with a castle, royals, ethereal Fates, all forms of mystical creatures and a Sorceress intent on destruction and power."
