Cinco de Mayo movies to stream today
Coco
First up, we’ve got Coco, one of the best movies from Pixar. Coco premiered in 2017 and is currently available to stream on Disney+. It’s sweet, heartwarming, and you’ll need a tissue or two by the end of the story. The movie also features a great soundtrack. Coco is, of course, set in Mexico, and there are locations you can visit that inspired the movie.
Frida
The movie Frida features one of Salma Hayek’s best performances as she takes on the role of Frida Kahlo in this biopic. This award-winning movie is definitely a must-see.
The Book of Life
Another movie that’s family-friendly (and actually very similar to Coco), is The Book of Life. The movie is streaming on Disney+ as well as Amazon Prime Video. Released in 2014, The Book of Life follows Manolo, a young man who doesn’t know whether to follow his heart or meet his family’s expectations.

Roma
This is another award-winning movie, streaming on Netflix. The 2018 movie won an Academy Award for Best Directing, Best Cinematography, and Best International Feature Film.
