What is the Lifetime movie Bound by Blackmail about?

Looking for your next thrilling watch? Lifetime, as is typical for the network, has you covered this weekend. Yet another new TV movie is set to premiere on the network. This one is called Bound By Blackmail and it stars Jade Harlow.

The film is centered on a self-improvement program called Initiative. Our lead is introduced to the program by her friend, but she soon realizes that something isn’t right about this so-called tight-knit community. For instance, it seems no one has left this program even when they’ve wanted to.

Why? Well, the program’s leader is holding secrets over the heads of the Initiative members. We should also note that the program are all women, but those in power are men. Refusing to let what she’s uncovered go, our lead is hellbent on investigating Initiative and helping these women return to the lives they once knew.

Bound By Blackmail Lifetime release date

This thriller premieres Saturday, May 7 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Lifetime. An encore showing of the film will air on Sunday, May 8 at 12:01 a.m. ET if you miss the movie’s premiere. So, if you’re interested in a late night watch, this could be just what you need.

In this movie, a woman named Avery finds out her husband is married to someone else. She decides to inform his second wife, but it results in the woman coming after her and trying to steal her son.
