When is 911 back with new episodes?
911 Season 5 aired its season finale. The good news is we have a sixth season confirmed. When will new episodes of 911 air in 2022?
Usually, by now, we would have had FOX’s fall schedule. That would have been announced during the upfronts, but that wasn’t the case in May 2022. It didn’t help that negotiations for a few shows went down to the wire.
We didn’t learn about our favorite first responder drama being renewed for Season 6 until May 16. That was very late considering the series is the top-rated scripted drama on the network. Of course FOX would renew it. It turned out to be problems with negotiations with the studio.
Fortunately, everything has worked out. The show is coming back. Now we need to know when.
911 Season 6 is likely coming back in fall 2022
With FOX not releasing its fall schedule, it’s hard to say when the show will return with new episodes. We’re expecting it to be in fall 2022. There’s no reason for the network to push the show to the midseason unless there are going to be some filming delays. However, we’re fully expecting to see the firefighters return on Mondays at 8/7c in the fall.
That means around the end of September. That’s usually when FOX brings back its shows. We usually see the last week of September become “premiere week” for the broadcast networks.
If we had to put a date on it, we’d predict Monday, Sept. 26. However, we’ll be sure to keep an eye on FOX’s plans for the fall schedule.
As usual, we’re expecting a long hiatus for the winter. We usually see the show take a three-month break between December and March to film the second half of the season. There’s no reason to think that won’t happen this year unless there’s been a change to the season length.
