When is the Riverdale season 6 finale on The CW?

It feels like yesterday that Riverdale season 6 was back on our television screens. And now we’re quickly approaching the end of another chapter and season of the hit CW series.

The sixth season of the popular show has made Barchie fans happy, given our heroes powers, finally delivered a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina crossover episode, and so much more.

We’re starting to head into the last batch of Riverdale season 6 episodes. So when can we expect to see the finale?

When is the Riverdale season 6 finale?

As of now, we’re going to see the finale episode of Riverdale season 6 on July 31. This air date is tentative, according to TVLine. It’s not really known why the network hasn’t set a permanent date for the finale yet. The CW might still be trying to figure out scheduling with the rest of its programs. There’s many times when networks take at least a week off when airing new episodes, so it’s not uncommon. That might be the case, which is why a set finale date for Riverdale hasn’t been put into place yet.

Either way, the finale is headed our way very soon. It’s only a matter of time before we reach the end of the penultimate season. The network recently announced the Archie-verse series will be coming back for a seventh and final season. The CW has moved the show from its regular fall schedule time slot to midseason instead. So we’ll be seeing Riverdale season 7 sometime next winter between Jan. and March 2023.

It will be bittersweet, but it’s time for us to say goodbye to the show. It’s had a long enough run. And since the showrunners know it’s the final season, they’re going to have time to flesh out a proper ending.
