The NCIS season 19 finale was riddled with twist after twist, leaving us wanting more at every turn! Just when you thought things were going one way, something changed and they left us with more questions than answered. So what happened when Parker’s ex-wife was kidnapped?

We were introduced to Vivian Kolchak, who we previously learned would be played by actress Teri Polo. She’s first seen being abducted after a run, with the suspect supposedly “bird watching” as someone else takes her away.

Photos taken during the kidnapping are sent to NCIS for Parker to see. After finding evidence at the photographer’s nest area, they discover DNA belonging to former FBI Agent Frank Ressler. He had previously worked with Parker before being fired due to taking bribes from a prominent politician.

Parker had been the one to blow the whistle, which leads him to believe he is being framed, especially after Ressler is killed. Unfortunately, Parker’s case isn’t helped by his DNA being underneath the man’s fingernails.

Eventually, the team figures out that their kidnapper is actually The Raven, previously seen after almost killing Jimmy and Kasie. He, or she, is also clearly making sure the FBI is also looking into Parker.

Even though the man in question tries to keep the team from falling into his mess, they refuse to back down. In fact, they help Parker “get away,” or rather follow leads on money that Ressler had been storing in the Caymans.

Vivian also comes with Parker, but then the final twist we discover is that she is in on the Raven’s plan! Parker thinks he has an ally in his ex-wife, but it turns out she is involved in whatever is happening to Parker. Now we have to wait the entire summer to find out exactly what will happen!

The NCIS Season 19 Finale also answered the question of Jimmy and Jessica’s relationship. As the team is filling out HR paperwork, she happens to see that Jimmy disclosed their relationship in his. While we see she is nervous at first, they admit that they are liking where things are going and share a kiss.

It’s so great to see Jimmy getting a second chance at happiness, especially after losing his wife. We’re looking forward to seeing how their relationship commences!
