When does Stranger Things season 4 return? (Season 4 part 2 release date)

Hello, Stranger Things fans! How are you all feeling? Where are the night owls who have been watching the fourth season all night since its release?

Stranger Things season 4 is so good! It’s quickly become a favorite of mine. It’s been almost three years since new episodes have graced our Netflix accounts. But the wait is finally over.

Many of you know by now that this season has a total of nine episodes. But right now only seven are available on the streamer. Don’t worry, that’s not a glitch! The season has been split into two parts.

I won’t give away any spoilers for those of you who haven’t been able to finish the season yet. But episode 7 definitely ends with a great reveal and a juicy cliffhanger, of course making us want more! So when can we expect to see the remaining episodes?

Stranger Things season 4 part 2 release date

We will be able to finish out this season’s story come July 1. That’s when the penultimate and final episodes of season 4 will be released! It’s a bit of a wait, but it’s not too bad. Hang in there, guys. If we waited years between seasons, I think we can wait a few weeks!

You’ll have noticed the episode run times are also longer this season. All the installments are over an hour long. The same can be said for episodes 8 and 9, with the last chapter coming in at 2 and a half hours. That’s longer than a movie!

Get ready for episode 8 titled “Papa” and the finale, “The Piggyback.” I’m sure they’re going to be so good. The last and second to last episodes are usually when the best things are packed in. And with Stranger Things season 5 happening, I don’t even want to think about what kind of cliffhanger we’re going to be left with!

But that’s a worry for later. Right now let’s just enjoy the first seven episodes that we have, and revel in the excitement for the final two coming our way on Friday, July 1!
