We are more than ready to start our week with new episodes of the two All American shows on The CW. It all starts with the OG series, following Spencer and his friends as they figure out their careers and balance friendships and their futures.

There’s some bad news tonight, Monday, May 30. There is not a new episode of the series on tonight. We don’t even have a rerun to keep us entertained. Right now, you can still watch the most recent five episodes of All American Season 4 on The CW App. Tomorrow will see the show’s arrive on Netflix.

Why isn’t a new episode of All American on tonight?

What is with the week off? Well, this is more than a week off. The previous episode of the series was the Season 4 finale. It left us with a lot of questions, so it’s not surprising that you want a new episode right away.

We will get answers. While The CW delivered a bloodbath of cancellations, this show wasn’t one of them. It was renewed earlier this year, and we also now know that the spin-off Homecoming is also coming back for a second season.

When will new episodes of All American return?

We have a wait on our hands for the show’s return. All American Season 5 isn’t going to be back until sometime in the fall. That means at least a four-month break.

The CW has made it clear that this series is still part of the fall lineup. We’ll get an American Monday, which makes sense considering how franchise shows have performed back-to-back on other networks. The exact premiere date won’t be announced until closer to the time, but we’re looking at sometime in early to mid-October, as is the custom with CW shows.
