The Boys season 3 is back and fans of the superhero television series are certainly excited! Based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, this show definitely shows another side to superheroes. One where they’re not so great.

Superheroes in this universe are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods. It’s because of this that they abuse their powers rather than use them for good. Multi-billion dollar corporation The Seven and Vought covers up the corrupt hero’s dirty secrets, which leads to a group of vigilantes, The Boys, on a quest to expose the truth.

Season 3 starts with a year of calm, with Homelander subdued and Butcher working for the government under the supervision of Hughie. But both men don’t want to keep the peace and quiet going on, instead they’re looking for blood and bone. The Boys learn of a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, sending them crashing into the Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first superhero: Soldier Boy.

The third season premiered on Prime Video June 3. If you are just catching up, here’s when you can expect to see new episodes.

What time do new episodes of The Boys come out?

New episodes of The Boys usually begin streaming Fridays at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on Prime Video. However, it’s been the case where some new episodes arrive earlier – 9 p.m. ET on Thursdays. It’s not really known why the streaming service doesn’t just stick to a consistent schedule. So your best bet is to check for new episodes Thursday evenings.
