There is nothing better on a Saturday night than to unwind at the end of the day with the NBC sketch comedy series, Saturday Night Liveand just wrap up the night with laughs. Unfortunately, if you have been following the comedy closely, you know that there is no new episode on tonight (or in the coming months), but an old episode will still air. When does Saturday Night Live come back with new episodes? And who will host tonight’s rerun? We have all the details for you, below!

That’s right! We hate to be the ones to deliver the bad news, but you really should have already known! SNL season 47 is a wrap! The last episode of that season aired on May 21, 2022. That said, we’re not against the network giving us older episodes at all, because this is how we can catch any episodes we may have missed. After all, there are 47 seasons of Saturday Night Live.

Who’s hosting Saturday Night Live tonight? (July 2)

Typically, we look to TV Guide to know who will be hosting, if an episode (old or new) is even airing. However, the source doesn’t share who the host is going to be tonight. There will still be an episode coming out at 11:29 p.m. ET, which will wrap at about 1:02 a.m. ET. The little bit information from TV Guide that we see, is that the episode airing is from 1975 as that’s the year that shows up. No episode number or any other details, though, which also makes me wonder if this isn’t correct and we’re getting an episode from a different year.

As soon as details are updated (if they ever are), we’ll run back here to update this post with more accurate information, including the host of tonight’s episode and more. Until SNL returns with season 48, what will you be watching on Saturday nights?
