Roswell, New Mexico season 4 didn’t have a new episode due to the Fourth of July holiday weekend, but a new episode will be coming on July 11! Despite all of the holiday buzz of barbecues, music, and fireworks keeping us busy, we still had some key moments in our minds of what happened in episodes 3 and 4 of the season.

One of the biggest is the fact that Alex is missing. Unfortunately, because he was already going to be off the grid, no one found his lack of communication weird. Plus, a devastating loss also meant that everyone was focused on supporting another character. And, what about the new aliens in town? They also kept the squad busy.

So what main things have happened so far in the episodes to date? Here’s what we know.

Roswell, New Mexico season 4 episodes 3 bids farewell to Isobel and Anatsa’s romance

In the third episode, Dallas and Michael made some headway thanks to Graham Green. The sigil he had put in his ad was something a relative discovered on a safety deposit box years ago in the bank. Bonnie and Clyde were, in fact, attempting to locate items that were contained in those safety deposit boxes. But for what purpose?

Liz also learned more about Shivani’s motives in her work involving alien activity. Both her and Allie had been trying to find a cure for their daughter’s ailment. Shivani’s work had led her to discovering healing properties that were alien in nature. Somehow, she seemed to know Liz was involved in researching alien phenomena.

While Liz looked into the soil that was found on a vehicle Clyde had abandoned, Max had his own worries. With his powers multiplying, he was afraid of using them and having something go wrong. Once he admitted this to Liz, she reminded him she’s there for him.

Michael wanted to go undercover in order to get closer to Bonnie and Clyde. To gain their trust, Max, Liz, Cameron, and Michael staged a breakout during a bank robbery in order to have Michael make headway with them.

As for Isobel, she was still struggling over telling Anatsa who she is. It’s made difficult during a double date with Kyle and his date, where they begin discussing the bank robberies since she works for the insurance company involved with the banks that were hit.

Instead of telling Anatsa the truth, the two women eventually broke up. While it hurt to watch, we know that even if Isobel does love her, if she can’t be truthful with her, then the relationship won’t be able to grow as it should.

The squad barely had time to even take a breath before more ended up happening. Eduardo was the next victim of Tezca’s, being mind warped so that he could take them to Jones’ body.

Maria faces a devastating loss in Roswell, New Mexico season 4 episode 4

Roswell, New Mexico season 4 episode four was heartbreaking for many reasons, the main one being the loss of Maria’s mom. She passed away right at the beginning but not before leaving Maria with a message. A heartbroken Maria was surrounded by her friends, except for Alex, who was still MIA. Even a phone call from Michael went unanswered.

You would think Alex not arriving to be by Maria’s side would be an indicator that something isn’t right, but it didn’t help that Michael’s phone was crushed in the midst of his undercover work. But, while trying to gain Bonnie and Clyde’s trust, he did learn some information from them.

Clyde was able to show him a vision of Oasis, including a tree that bore fruit they brought with them on their ship. However, he was still wary of Michael, until he discovered that Michael is Jones’ son. What Michael didn’t know was that Maria, while looking at her mother’s wedding album, found a photo of the exact tree from Oasis.

Upset that he lost his chance, Michael tried to find a phone since he melted the tracker Max and Cameron gave him. Instead, he found Eduardo, whose eyes are now blue due to being mind warped. Also, unfortunately, Michael was too focused on the undercover work to ask if Eduardo had heard from Alex, but he’ll get there…eventually.

When alien tissue was discovered in the desert, Liz attempted to look into its genetic makeup. Unfortunately, her methods caused the tissue to die and she doubted herself in her grief over Mimi. A talk with Shivani helped her to take a moment to grieve the woman who was more of a mother to her than her own.

Another victim of Tezca’s was found, the trucker we met in the first episode. Her eyes were also blue and Liz managed to get samples of her tears in order to help with her research. She then used the tears in order to bring the tissue sample back to life.

Michael was able to get some information from Bonnie, who seemed more lost than anything. She eventually told him that the mysterious items they were finding in the banks were being used to find their way home, thanks to work his own mom did. Bonnie was overcome with happiness that Michael chose to help them that kissed him. However, he quickly informed her he has a boyfriend who he loves.

Max eventually found Cameron and they went to where they had found Jones’ body, trying to figure out what the aliens wanted with him. But, when he saw Cam has a sigil tattoo, he realized it’s not her. In fact, Isobel, on the heels of her breakup, had gone to find Cam herself and discovered her unconscious, but with blue eyes.

The Cameron in front of Max was, in fact, Tezca. But, at the same time, Kyle also found her in a pod. So how is this possible?

Hopefully episode 5 will help answer some of these burning questions we have. Including what Tezca’s ultimate goal is, how Jones is involved, and where they have Alex. Let us know in the comments below any theories you have about the new aliens on Roswell, New Mexico!
