Where can you stream Thor: Love and Thunder online?

The god of thunder is returning for his fourth solo installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Thor: Love and Thunder. With its July 8 premiere, will the film be available on streaming in addition to a theatrical release? Here’s what we know!

When we last checked on Thor, he was making plans for his future at the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame. Thor ordained Valkyrie as the king of New Asgard before joining the Guardians of the Galaxy on their ship.

Love and Thunder shows a Thor trying to find peace in his life, which also leads to him getting back into peak physical shape. When Gorr the God Butcher attempts to rid the world of all gods, Thor looks to Valkyrie, Korg, and his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster, for help.

This movie marks Chris Hemsworth eighth appearance (not counting the mid-credits appearance in Doctor Strange) in the MCU. Tessa Thompson and Taika Waititi, who also co-wrote and directed the film, reprise their roles as Valkyrie and Korg, respectively. Natalie Portman steps back into the role of Jane Foster, but this time around, she is Mighty Thor.

Keeping in line with Marvel’s most recent film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder should be a huge hit with fans and at the box office. With the film opening in theaters, will it also be available on streaming?

Where can you stream Thor: Love and Thunder online?

Unfortunately, Thor: Love and Thunder will not be simultaneously available on streaming starting July 8. It can only be found in theaters right now. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at your theater of choice or through an online ticketing service.

Is Thor: Love and Thunder streaming on Disney+?

The Thor sequel will eventually head to a streaming service during its theatrical run. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a recent MCU film, began streaming on Disney+ on June 22, which is just over 45 days. Although nothing is official, Thor: Love and Thunder could arrive on Disney+ sometime at the end of August if the same principles are applied.
