Big Brother 24 speculations: Is Jasmine Davis disqualified?

On last night’s episode of Big Brother 24, houseguest Jasmine Davis took a nasty spill.

The competitor rolled on her ankle and, after displaying signs of being unable to walk, had no choice but to be carried away by her fellow houseguests to safety. Her accident caused concern to not only her peers but to viewers all around the world, as, in most cases, injury automatically equates to an individual’s game being in jeopardy.

Could Jasmine Davis be disqualified from the Big Brother house because of her sprained ankle? Will she self-evict after seeing how difficult it will be to participate in future competitions? Or is it business as usual?

We speculate what we believe might happen below.

Will Jasmine Davis self-evict on Big Brother 24?

Based on what we’re seeing on live feeds, it seems as though Jasmine Davis currently has no plans to self-evict any time soon. However, given the fact that she’s using crutches to move around and is otherwise bedridden for the majority of the week, there’s a 50-50 chance she may still have to leave the game. After all, there are plenty of physical competitions still left in store. If she can’t compete, how will she win Big Brother 24?

Needless to say, the other 50% chance comes from the fact that past houseguests have managed to get far in the game despite being immobile. Most notably, Christmas Abbott.

During her time on Big Brother season 19, Abbott severely injured herself and had to be temporarily excused from the game to go to the hospital. Even still, production allowed her to stay in the game, so long as she understood that the reality series wasn’t going to change competitions to suit her needs. Perhaps the same will be done for Davis. But if so, like Abbott, Davis is going to have to politic exceptionally well for her fellow houseguests to view her as more than dead weight.

Of course, there is also a very likely chance that Jasmine Davis fully recovers and can continue to compete for her chance to win $750,000. Only time will tell, though, if she ever gets better.
