A new hip-hop docuseries is coming to Hulu! RapCaviar Presents is from Spotify and Sony Pictures Television’s IPC studio, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The news outlet reports Steve Rivo will serve as showrunner on the upcoming documentary. Karam Gill serves as creative director and executive producer, along with EPs Av Accius, and Marcus A. Clarke. Gill, Keith McQuirter, Peter J. Scalettar, Farah X and Mandon Lovett will all serve as directors.

The new docuseries will premiere sometime later this year on Hulu. There will be a total of eight episodes.

RapCaviar Presents guests

RapCaviar Presents will feature some of the biggest hip-hop artists around right now. Those include Tyler the Creator, Jack Harlow, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Saweetie, and Roddy Ricch.

At this time it’s not known whether each episode will focus on one artist at a time or if more than one will be in the same episode. We’ll have to wait and see!

RapCaviar Presents synopsis

We don’t have an official synopsis yet, but the Hollywood Reporter shared the music series will explore major cultural topics from the perspectives of these big hip-hop artists.

The name of the documentary comes from Spotify’s playlist, which has a fan base of more than 14 million users. The new outlet also reports since its launch in 2015, the RapCaviar playlist has helped elevate the careers of rising artists since it’s provided them with more exposure.
