Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things has provided a starting place for many of the young actors that got their breakout roles in season 1. As it’s continued on, the show has been able to provide a spotlight on more newcomers in the industry. No matter how big or small your role is, it’s definitely a big deal to be on the series!

One actress who hasn’t been on it much, but has still left an imprint on fans, is Gabriella Pizzolo. Fans of the sci-fi series will know her as Suzie Bingham, who is the ever-dedicated, and super smart girlfriend of Dusty-buns (as she calls him!).

We first met the character in the finale of season 3. She once again appeared in the fourth season in the premiere episode and in episode 6, “The Dive,” where she helped Mike, Will, Jonathan, and Argyle track down Eleven.

I’m sure the role in Stranger Things has opened up more doors for the actress. Is one of those doors to HBO Max’s new series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin?

If you’ve seen the premiere episode of PLL: Original Sin, then someone may have looked familiar. Pizzolo is in fact a character on the new series! She’s actually the very first person we see in the opening scene before we meet any of the other characters.

Three episodes in, we haven’t seen much of Angela Waters past the scene at the unfortunate New Year’s Eve party but perhaps she’ll have a bigger role in future episodes. After all, PLL: Original Sin isn’t just about the secrets the little liars are keeping, but those of their parents as well. There could be more flashbacks coming to help us understand why the girls didn’t help the troubled teen when she was so clearly distressed.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin drops weekly episodes on HBO Max.
