Flowers in the Attic: The Origin has finished its run on Lifetime. The four part limited series, which followed Olivia Winfield Foxworth’s life, was a roller-coaster of a ride that was filled to the brim with trauma for all of its characters.

While we won’t reveal how the series ends, we can say that it’ll leave viewers interested in this twisting tale clamoring for more. It’s not exactly a cliffhanger, but clearly the Foxworth’s story isn’t finished. One only has to turn to Corrine and the Dollanganger children to know this is true.

But, you’re in luck if you’re looking for more of this tale, you don’t have to wait ages for the next part in the story. The downside, however, is that you won’t be watching another series or an installment that includes the cast we’ve come to know over these four episodes.

For those unaware, Flowers in the Attic: The Origin is a prequel in a franchise that follows the Dollangangers. This series was meant to give context to Olivia’s actions which will see her lock her own grandchildren in the attic, hence the title of the show.

There are two film adaptation of Flowers in the Attic, here’s where you can stream them.

Where to stream Flowers in the Attic

The 1987 adaptation can be streamed on Prime Video with a subscription. The streaming service is $14.99/month.

The 2014 Lifetime adaptation starring Kiernan Shipka can be streamed on mylifetime.com with a TV provider log-in or on lifetimemovieclub.com where a subscription is $4.99/month. Through the Lifetime Movie Club, you’ll also find the full V.C. Andrews film collection which includes Flowers in the Attic sequels.

There’s been no word on if the Flowers in the Attic: The Origin prequel will spawn a new adaptation of the franchise starring the cast from this series. However, star Hannah Dodd did say the following to TVLine:

"I don’t know. Obviously, the next step is Flowers in the Attic and that has been made so I wonder if there is a demand for it. Obviously with a limited series, you get to delve into the characters a bit more. I would be intrigued to see what that would look like, whether or not we came at it from a different point of view, maybe you saw what happens outside the attic during that time. There would have to be a reason for retelling that story because Lifetime’s already done it [and] they’ve done a great job of it."

So, we’ll have to wait and see if Lifetime does decide to adapt the Dollangangers story once again but this time in a limited series.
