What is science fiction action film Prey on Hulu about?

In case you haven’t gotten enough films in the Predator universe, you’ll be happy to know another one is coming to Hulu very soon! Prey is the next installment in the popular science-fiction franchise, however we’re going back to the past this time.

The production is directed by Dan Trachtendberg and written by Patrick Aison. In front of the cameras are stars Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegro, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope.

Get ready to see Midthunder as Naru, a young Comanche warrior who protects her tribe against – you guessed it – a predator. The 2022 film is the fifth installment and serves as a prequel to the first four movies. It will serve as an origin story for the main villains and show how they came to Earth for the first time.

Prey is a 20th Century Studios film, but will be released as a Hulu original film on Friday, August 5, 2022. So you can stream it right away from the comfort of your own home!

What is Prey on Hulu about?

According to Hulu, Prey centers around Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior and is set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains.

When danger threatens her camp, Naru sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal. This results in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.
