Spy x Family Part 2 release updates (synopsis, cast, and more!)

We know, we know! We miss Spy x Family as much as you do!

The uber-popular anime series was nothing short of a good time. From start to finish, we had non-stop action, really hilarious jokes, and heartfelt moments between loved ones. So much so that the 2022 series had us wishing we, too, were part of Anya’s fake family. After all, who wouldn’t want to have an assassin as a mother and a double-agent spy as a father?

Although we, unfortunately, can’t transport into the anime to live Anya’s exciting life, we can settle for the next best thing—watching a new season full of all-new shenanigans!

Will there be a Spy x Family Part 2?

Fortunately for us, the second installment of Spy x Family was quickly announced not too long after the first installment concluded earlier this year!

The second part will have a total of 13 episodes and will cover the Doggy Crisis Arc.

Spy x Family Part 2 synopsis

Spy x Family part two will journey the lives of Anya, Yor, and Loid, as they do everything in their power to stop the plans of a terrorist who seeks to blow up the West, threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands.

With time running out, Anya will have to use her telepathic powers to assist her spy father in any way she can. Additionally, Yor will also have to do everything in her power to keep her daughter out of harm’s way. But with chaos seemingly becoming inevitable, this family will need even more help to save the day. Thankfully, a special canine knows a thing or two. (Wink, wink.)

And joining to play this arc’s antagonist, Keith Kepler, is none other than Kamisama Hajimemashita‘s Hiroki Takahashi!
