Missed the latest episode of Big Brother season 24? No worries! We’re here to fill you in on all the juicy details of last night’s HOH competition and which two individuals were put on the block. But first, let’s go over some crucial details.

Prior to yesterday’s HOH competition, we said goodbye to Daniel Durston, the fourth evicted houseguest of the season. Shortly after his departure, host Julie Chen announced that the Festie Bestie twist is over; it is now every person for themselves.

The houseguests were relieved at the news because it also indicated that jury has officially begun. However, they were most relieved at the fact that they can finally take a stab at huge threats that’s been riding on the coattails of their fellow houseguests.

With Michael Bruner as the exiting HOH, a new person will take his spot. Here’s what went down during the beginning of week 7 in the Big Brother season 24 house.

Who won HOH on Big Brother season 24 (week 7)?

After weeks of patiently waiting, we finally received our first endurance wall comp of the season—“Conspiracy Fest”.  The remaining houseguests had to hang on for dear life as buckets of paint, bundles of newspapers, and lumps of Bigfoot’s hair were dropped on them throughout the competition.

One-by-one each competitor dropped until only Taylor Hale and Kyle Capener remained. Despite being in the same Leftovers alliance, Kyle refused to throw the comp to Taylor, but that would soon prove to be unnecessary anyway, as, in the end, Kyle couldn’t hold on much longer and eventually dropped out of this week’s HOH competition.

Week 7 HOH: Taylor Hale

Who did Taylor Hale put up for eviction on Big Brother season 24?

With her very first win under her belt, Taylor saw it fit to come after the same people who never hesitated to drag her name in the dirt. She didn’t want to put up Jasmine Davis, a.k.a. the person who insulted Taylor the most, because of her promise to never put a fellow Black woman on the block. She didn’t want to risk putting up any of her Leftover alliance members on the block either. Her only option left was to put up players that truly didn’t have any loyalty to anyone.

Week 7 Nominees: Indy Santos and Terrance Higgins

It goes without saying that Indy Santos and Terrance Higgins didn’t take too kindly to being put on the block. Perhaps they can channel their frustration into all the energy they need to win the veto and pull themselves off. Or perhaps our HOH Taylor Hale will fight to keep noms the same. Anything’s possible!

Who will secure the Golden Power of Veto? Tune in to a brand new episode of Big Brother season 24 on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS (and Paramount+) to find out!
