What is Barbie Ferreira’s next role after Euphoria?

Following Barbie Ferreira’s shocking exit from the third season of Euphoria, the actress has officially booked her next big gig.

Entertainment Weekly reports Ferreira is to star in the upcoming Prime Video original film, House of Spoils, which is co-created by Blumhouse Television.

Ferreira will act alongside West Side Story actress Ariana DeBose in the upcoming psychological thriller. As Hidden Remote previously reported, she’ll play “a hopeful but sharp-tongued sous chef who works with DeBose’s character.”

Other actors and actresses expected to be featured in this movie are not yet known, however, we do know that the talented crew consists of Moonhaven‘s Bridget Savage Cole and Blow the Man Down‘s Danielle Krudy, both of whom will serve as the directors and writers of the Prime Video title.

Last but not least, the media outlet gave us some insight into the story behind Ferreira’s latest project.

House of Spoils is a film that follows an ambitious chef (DeBose) who finally opens her own restaurant. However, upon learning that her restaurant is possessed by a vengeful spirit who seeks to destroy all of her progress, she soon realizes her big dream has actually become her greatest nightmare.

We’re sure to receive more information about House of Spoils including an official trailer and a release date. But until then, here is what Barbie Ferreira is up to next.

Barbie Ferreira’s next acting projects

Aside from House of Spoils and her role in the Jordan Peele smash-hit film, Nope, Ferreira seems to be keeping a relatively low profile in the entertainment industry. Still, it’s highly possible that her next couple of roles may consist of characters who are far more flawed and multi-faceted, as Ferreira has expressed the highs and lows of only being seen as confident in both fiction and real life.

“I don’t want everyone to just focus on the fact that I’m confident, because I’m not,” Ferreira expressed to InStyle earlier this year. “If you’re not the norm, in Hollywood or fashion, you’re automatically seen as a brave person, which I think is very offensive, and I think it’s hard to always be put in that box and have this pressure to be happy with yourself at a young age.”

Ferreira continued, “I just keep going, and hopefully, one day people will stop focusing on that.”

Perhaps Barbie Ferreira’s next roles will include characters who are as dynamic, if not more dynamic, as her Euphoria character Kat Hernandez. Perhaps her role in House of Spoils is just that. Only time will tell. However, Ferreira seems to be heading down the right path.
