D23 schedule: How long is D23 Disney and Pixar panel? (2022)

D23 has officially begun! On Friday, Sept. 9, the D23 Expo returned to the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California to kick off the three-day event which will bring with it a wave of exciting announcements from Disney’s biggest studios.

While all eyes might be on Saturday’s Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios joint panel, the action will begin today with the D23 Disney and Pixar panel set to unfold on Friday afternoon as the first showcase panel of the event.

During the Studio Showcase Celebrate the Magic of Disney and Pixar panel, Disney Studios invites fans to join them for an all-star look at what’s coming up in theaters and on Disney+ from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios and Disney Studios.

The panel promises to provide us with a look at what new films and shows are in development from the powerhouse studios in a panel that is sure to set social media on fire. So when can you expect the panel to begin and how much time should you set aside for the panel?

D23 schedule: D23 Disney and Pixar panel time

This year’s Disney and Pixar D23 panel is set to kick off at 3:30 pm PT / 6:30 pm ET and will unfold on the Hall D23 stage. While most of this year’s D23 panels will run for an hour or 90 minutes, the Celebrate the Magic of Disney and Pixar panel is set to run for an impressive 2 hours!

With a 2-hour panel blocked out, there’s no telling what Disney Studios might have planned for us this afternoon and just how much news they might share during the event. Considering how much Marvel Studios was able to unveil during the SDCC panel in July, one can only imagine how much news they’ll break across the Disney and Pixar D23 panel.
