New Disney+ shows and movies to stream this weekend (September 9)

September is a huge month if you’re a Disney fan. It’s an even bigger deal if you’re a Disney+ subscriber, too. The biggest takeaway from this week has to be Disney+ Day. Celebrated on September 8, Disney+ Day is exactly what it sounds like, a day to celebrate Disney+ and Disney basically releases a lot of new content, finally adds some anticipated releases, and just celebrates the platform.

Unlike last year, Disney+ Day was moved from the streamer’s anniversary to September 8 as a way to incorporate it more with D23. Either way, it was a huge day for releases and for Disney fans.

If you missed all the hullabaloo with Disney+ Day among other releases, we’ve got your back.

This is the newest batch of Disney+ releases to help spice up your weekend

As previously mentioned, this week’s batch of releases includes all of the Disney+ Day releases along with everything else that is set to be released normally. Be sure to buckle up as there are a lot of releases to get into so let’s break it down.

  • Pinocchio (September 8)
  • Thor: Love and Thunder (September 8)
  • Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder (September 8)
  • Cars on the Road (September 8)
  • Tierra Incógnita (September 8)
  • Growing Up (September 8)
  • Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory (September 8)
  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Episode 4 (September 8)
  • Dancing with the Stars: The Pro’s Most Memorable Moments (September 8)

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return (September 8)

As you can see, this was a huge release for both Disney+ and Disney fans in general. If you can’t find something to watch this week, then that’s just unfortunate. Either way, hopefully, you’re able to find something to brighten up your weekend.
