What is Professionals on The CW about?

Professionals, starring Tom Welling and Brendan Fraser, makes its premiere on The CW on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. ET after The Winchesters debuts.
The 2020 series is quite the departure for the network as its a pedal to the metal action drama unlike anything The CW has seen. The closest comparison would be Nikita, the action thriller starring Maggie Q and Shane West that ran from 2010-2013. The other action driven series on The CW exist in the realm of superheroes, the supernatural, and martial arts.
In the Nexstar era for the network, programming that fits the tastes of older viewers will be taken into greater consideration. Professionals, which is a high octane drama, looks to be a part of that push. We’ll see how it pays off for The CW. Here’s more on the series!

"After their advanced medical satellite explodes on deployment, billionaire futurist Peter Swann, and his fiancée, medical visionary Dr. Graciela “Grace” Davila, turn to a hardened former counterintelligence officer."
