When does 911: Lone Star return on FOX? (Season 4 updates)

911: Lone Star Season 4 isn’t going to premiere tonight. When will the new season premiere on FOX? Here are all the updates we have right now. We will bring more updates as they come.

Fall TV is back, and 911 is one of the shows returning. That’s the OG series set in Los Angeles. The Texas-based series, 911: Lone Star, is not making its return just yet.

Sadly, this isn’t a series coming back in 2022. FOX has a plan that will be good for it financially, even though we are disappointed by the news. Just when will we get to see the show return?

When does 911 Lone Star return? (2023)

As of right now, FOX hasn’t given us a premiere date. We will bring the update as soon as we have it. For now, we’re looking at Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, as a potential premiere date, as we know the show is being held for the midseason. We’ll know more around November or December.

FOX has decided to hold the series until 2023. This makes sense considering the show is so popular. We know 911 gets a three-month break in the winter for filming. If 911: Lone Star Season 4 premiered in the fall, it would also get a three-month break. Why would FOX want both of its biggest shows on a long break at the same time?

Instead, FOX puts the spin-off series on throughout the break. This helps to keep the viewership up, which means good amounts for the advertising on Mondays.

The same thing happened with Season 3. We saw the show return on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022. That’s why we’re looking at Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, for Season 4.

There are no big cast changes coming this season. At least, nothing has been reported. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on things when the promo for the season is finally released. We expect that closer to the end of this year.
