Major spoilers ahead of The Cleaning Lady season 2

The Cleaning Lady season 2 premiere, “Sins of the Father,” reunited viewers with Arman in the midst of him serving time in prison.

In the season 1 finale, his precarious situation seemed to be working in his favor. His boss Hayak wasn’t aware of his betrayal, he was able to help Thony access the money he’d acquired from the gun sale that went left, and he had a plan. The premiere set that plan into motion. It, however, got off to a rough start.

Preoccupied with Marco abducting their son, Thony’s mind was elsewhere. She wasn’t returning Nadia’s calls and it took speaking with Arman to put her back on track despite everything that was going on in her own life.

In order not to tempt fate, Arman needed some of the money he’d put in her charge liquidated so that he could bribe a judge who could get him out of prison. With Fiona’s help, Thony went about turning the cryptocurrency into cold, hard cash.

Unfortunately, before they could finish gathering the money, Thony’s access to the account was frozen by Garrett and the rest of the FBI. Where did that leave Arman? Here’s what we know!

Does Arman get out of jail in The Cleaning Lady season 2 premiere?

Technically, by the end of “Sins of the Father,” it does look like Arman gets out of jail. However, he’s still a prisoner. He’s simply being rushed to the hospital. Yes, his luck did run out. Turns out, Hayak has a correctional officer in the jail on his payroll.

The officer, who’s been keeping a close eye on Arman, taped a recording device to the interrogation table when Garrett came to see our favorite mobster. It was just the evidence Hayak needed to confirm his suspicions that Arman had turned on him. This was the sort of move Arman should have expected from the kingpin but alas he didn’t and his lack of foresight landed him in general population at the prison.

Hayak also sent two of their fellow inmates after Arrman. The guard on duty let it happen, once again showing just how far the crime boss’ reach is. While Arman prevailed against his attackers, he was stabbed several times and was left to bleed out. He wasn’t looking good in his parting shot for the premiere and we’re now on tenterhooks waiting to find out what’s going to happen to him next.
