The Hype season 2 release: When do new episodes come out on HBO Max?

HBO Max‘s reality series, The Hype, is back for another season! 10 streetwear designers are ready to battle it out to prove themselves to the judges, aka the co-signers, and for the chance to win the big cash prize of $150,00.

The series follows the same format as other fashion shows like Project Runway. The contestants have to complete timed challenges, and get eliminated one by one until a winner is left standing.

The up-and-coming visionary designers’ artistry and “entrepreneurial hustle” is put to the ultimate test throughout the season, according to HBO Max. The designers have to create ready-to-wear pieces that balance art and commerce while remaining authentic to their own vision.

The Hype season 2 is hosted by Speedy Morman. The contestants have to prove to co-signers Offset, Bephie Birkett, and Marni Senofonte that they are worthy of they hype. Special guests this season include Law Roach, DJ Khaled, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Angelo Baque, among others.

So when can you expect to see this next set of entrepreneurs and their artistic ideas in the fashion world?

When do new episodes of The Hype season 2 come out?

Season 2 of the reality series premiered on Thursday, Sept. 22 with the first three episodes on HBO Max. Those will be followed by another three on Sept. 29, before the final two episodes are released on Oct. 6. That’s a total of eight episodes this season.

Rikki Hughes serves as showrunner of the HBO Max series.
