How many episodes of All American Season 5 are there?

All American Season 5 finally begins tonight. Just how long will the show have to tell the story this season? How many episodes will there be?

After a long summer break, we’re getting back into the swing of things with Spencer and co. It’s Christmas, too. That’s certainly going to feel a little off for those of us in Canada as we celebrate Thanksgiving today!

Anyway, we’re getting back to our favorite college students. A lot went down as they all graduated high school and had to figure out their lives afterward. We ended with a lot of questions, especially when it came to a few of the couples. Now is the time to get some answers.

Of course, we want to know just how many episodes we’ll get. This tells us how long we have with the characters, and it also gives us an idea of the upcoming hiatuses.

All American Season 5 episode count

The CW hasn’t shared just how long a lot of shows will be. That’s not surprising. There are a lot of factors that go into the episode counts, and things can change during the season. After all, we have no idea if there are going to be any filming delays this year.

It doesn’t help that this series hasn’t been consistent with the episode count. The first two seasons had 16 episodes. Then the third season was upped to 19 episodes. There is a chance that there were supposed to be more episodes but the pandemic put things on hold.

The in Season 4, we were treated to 20 episodes. Is there a chance that an initial plan was to give the season a full 22 episodes? It’s hard to say at this point.

All American Season 5 is going to have at least 16 episodes based on this pattern. It could have as many as 20 to 22 episodes. The series has become a popular one for The CW (thanks to Netflix!), so the network is likely to want to keep it on the air in the regular TV season for as long as possible.
