Does Laurie Strode die in Halloween Ends? (Spoilers)

Jamie Lee Curtis has been the face of the Halloween franchise for decades, but after eight films Curtis is finally walking away from the character of Laurie Strode in Halloween Ends. 

The film, thought to be the final film in the Halloween franchise (or at least the final film starring Curtis), sees Laurie going to battle one final time with her long-time foe, Michael Myers. With the film bringing an end to the franchise, fans are eager to see how exactly the franchise will come to a close and, more importantly, which characters will make it out of the final film alive.

While Laurie has managed to evade death at the hands of Michael Myers for years, that could finally change in Halloween Ends. We know the pair are about to embark on one final battle and blood will be shed, but will Laurie end her story as the latest in a long list of Michael’s victims or will she finally get the upper hand on the murderous Myers?

Does Jamie Lee Curtis die in Halloween Ends?

If you’re getting ready to watch Halloween Ends and can’t bare the thought of waiting until the end to know whether Jamie Lee Curtis’s character Laurie Strode is still standing when the dust settles, we’ve got some news you’re going to like. Laurie does not die in Halloween Ends and is still very much alive and well as the film comes to a close. As for Michael Myers? Well, he’s not so lucky.

In the final battle between Laurie and Michael, the two come to blows in an intense back-and-forth. There are times in their fight when it looks like Michael might finally kill Laurie, but she just keeps fighting until she finally turns the table on the monster who has been hunting her for the last several years.

While Laurie does take quite the beating during her fight with Michael and he does almost strangle her to death, with help from Allyson she is able to finally put an end to Michael’s reign of terror by killing him once and for all.
