Strictly Come Dancing entered its fourth week this weekend, with the contestants all back to performing regular routines after last week’s Movies special.

The shock dance-off between Richie & Giovanni and Fleur & Vito last week (which resulted in the departure of the former couple) highlighted just how fierce the competition is this year, as neither couple were anywhere near the bottom of the Leaderboard – which is very much an anomaly this early into the competition.

But the show must go on, and on it did, as the remaining 13 couples took to the dancefloor on Saturday, October 15, to show off their very best Ballroom and Latin routines (along with the very first Argentine Tango and Couple’s Choice of the series).

What went down in the ballroom and who’s in danger of going home on tomorrow night’s results show? Here are the Strictly spoilers, results, and scores from the Saturday night show.

Strictly spoilers and results: Week 4 Leaderboard

This week’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing was the strongest standard of the series thus far. We had sensational Salsas, tense Tangos, wonderful Waltzes, and a very entertaining night of dance all around. But it didn’t go well for everyone.

Here are the results from the Strictly Week 4 Saturday night show, and the Leaderboard we were left with:

  • Hamza and Jowita danced the Salsa – 9, 10, 10, 10 = 39
  • Fleur and Vito danced the Argentine Tango – 9, 10, 9, 10 = 38
  • Tyler and Dianne danced the Couples’ Choice – 8, 9, 10,10 = 37
  • Molly and Carlos danced the Cha Cha Cha – 8, 9, 9, 9 = 35
  • James and Amy danced the Quickstep – 8, 8, 8, 8 = 32
  • Kym and Graziano danced the Samba – 7, 8, 8, 9 = 32
  • Jayde and Karen danced the American Smooth – 7, 8, 8, 8 = 31
  • Ellie S and Nikita danced the Salsa – 7, 8, 7, 8 = 30
  • Ellie T and Johannes danced Viennese Waltz – 7, 8, 7, 8 = 30
  • Helen and Gorka danced the Paso Doble – 6, 8, 7, 8 = 29
  • Tony and Katya danced the American Smooth – 5, 7, 7, 7 = 26
  • Will and Nancy danced the Rumba – 4, 7, 5, 7 = 23
  • Matt and Nadiya danced the Jive – 3, 6, 5, 6 = 20

Who is in danger on Strictly Week 4?

The people at the bottom of the Leaderboard are, as always, in the most danger of going home, and that means Matt Goss and Nadiya Bychkova, Will Mellor and Nancy Xu, and Tony Adams and Katya Jones could be dancing again for survival in the Dance-Off.

That being said, we know how popular Tony and Will are with the public, and Matt was able to steer clear of the Dance-Off last week. That could leave those in the lower half of the Leaderboard in trouble, because even though their scores are high, the generally higher scores of the evening means that someone who did very well on Saturday could still have to dance for survival on the Sunday night results show.

That should not be a factor this early on in the competition, and whether or not you agree with all  of the scores this evening, it’s easy to see that the standard is very high out of the gate this series.

This week’s episode of Strictly was of an incredibly high standard and that makes it very difficult to call.

Update Sunday, October 16: As revealed on the Sunday night results show, Matt and Nadiya had to dance off against Kym and Graziano. In a unanimous decision from the Judges, Matt and Nadiya were sent home.

Congrats to Kym and Graziano on surviving the Dance-Off. Rewatch their sensational Samba below:
