Halloween movies and shows to watch this October 2022 (by streamer)
When it comes to streaming platforms, Netflix likely comes to mind first. So that’s where we’re starting. They have a lot to choose from under a wide variety of categories.
Right off the bat, if you haven’t seen The Haunting of Hill House or The Haunting of Bly Manor, you absolutely need to make that a part of your Halloween viewing for the month. Both of these series are single season tales based on classic horror stories (one was a book and one was a short story). And much like we would expect from a horror story, there are ghosts and horrors that will leave you haunted.
Of course, for some of us, it’s all about the movies. Netflix has us covered there as well. If you grew up in the ’90s then you have likely read an R.L. Stine book. Whether it was Goosebumps or Fear Street, Stine knew how to make us jump. Thanks to Netflix, the horror of Fear Street was finally brought to life on our screens in the form of not one, but three movies. If you haven’t had a chance to watch all three movies yet, this is the perfect opportunity to get into the Halloween spirit with the help of our horror master.
