Welcome to Chippendales cast: Who stars in the Hulu drama?

A true-crime saga mixed in with the the tale of an infamous male-stripping empire is the story we’re going to see play out in Hulu‘s upcoming new series, Welcome to Chippendales!

The show will tell the “outrageous story” of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s greatest male dance troupe known for their striptease performances, the Chippendales, according to Hulu. And, you can bet he will let nothing stand in his way in the process.

The series, set to premiere Nov. 22, sees co-creator Robert Siegel and lead actor Kumail Nanjiani as executive producers. Co-creator Jenni Konner, Dylan Sellers, Matt Shakman, Emily V. Gordon, Nora Silver and Rajiv Joseph, who will write on the series along with Mehar Sethi, also take on EP duties. Jacqui Rivera is co-executive producer and Annie Wyman is co-producer.

The limited drama series is inspired by the book Deadly Dance: The Chippendales Murders by K. Scot Macdonald and Patrick MontesDeOca. It is also based on the real-life touring dance troupe known for its male striptease performances, with its dancers shirtless and their upper body costume consisting of a bow tie, collar, and shirt cuffs.
