Who is Lucas Adams’s mom in Grey’s Anatomy?
Lucas Adams has a secret. He’s the son of one of McDreamy’s sisters. Which sister is his mom in Grey’s Anatomy? We have clues to help work it out.
During the Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 premiere, we learned Lucas was hiding a secret from the rest of his peers. He’s Derek Shepherd’s nephew. It also turns out that he’s Amelia’s nephew, so that rules her out as his mother. Meredith shared that she brought Lucas into the program because of Amelia. Lucas is the black sheep of the family, very much like his aunt.
Now fans want to figure out which of Derek and Amelia’s sisters is his mom. There are three other sisters: Nancy (Embeth Davidtz), Kathleen (Amy Acker), and Liz (Neve Campbell). Lucas clearly goes by his father’s surname, so that makes it harder to work things out as none of the sisters’ married names have been mentioned.
There was a clue in Grey’s Anatomy Season 19, Episode 3 that may have told us who his mom is. He shares that his dad is from Barbados, but he is from Connecticut.
Lucas Adams could be Nancy Shepherd’s son in Grey’s Anatomy
When talking to Simone’s grandmother, he shared that he is from Connecticut. This could be the biggest clue about who his mom is. Nancy Shepherd lives there.
However, we know that Nancy’s husband is called John and is an investment banker. We don’t know where the other two sisters currently live. Kathleen is married to a diplomat but is likely around New York when she is in the United States. Liz is harder to pin down.
