We’re back for another round of dances on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, and things just got spooky. And no, we’re not talking about the fact that the competition is nearly at its halfway point or that there is another elimination looming (though that is pretty scary!), we’re talking about the fact that this week is the show’s Halloween Special.

Another theme week feels odd after last week’s BBC Centenary Special, but the show’s annual spooktacular event has become  a fixture of Strictly. And with Scooby Doo-themed Foxtrots, Stranger Things inspired Argentine Tangos, and even a Rumba to “Frozen” by Madonna, there were plenty of thrills, chills and spills on Saturday night.

Here are the Strictly spoilers, results, and scores from the Week 6 Saturday night show of Halloween Week.

Strictly spoilers and results: Week 6 Leaderboard

Week 6 proved to be an interesting one, even for the Halloween Special. Tyler and Dianne’s Cha Cha was marked highly (in spite of a considerable lack of Cha Cha content), while Ellie Taylor and Johannes finally had their standout moment with the Couples Choice. And even though she didn’t top the Leaderboard, Kym Marsh stole the show with an exquisite Rumba that saw her receive her highest mark yet.

But there were some frightful scores in there as well. Here are the results from the Strictly Week 6 Saturday night show, the scores each couple received, and the Leaderboard we were left with at the end of the night:

  • Tyler and Dianne danced the Cha Cha Cha – 7, 9, 9, 10 = 35
  • Ellie T and Johannes danced the Couple’s Choice -8, 9, 9, 9 = 35
  • Kym and Graziano danced the Rumba – 8, 8, 9, 9 = 34
  • Molly and Carlos danced the Argentine Tango – 6, 9, 9, 9 = 33
  • Hamza and Jowita danced the Tango – 8, 9, 8, 9 = 33
  • Fleur and Vito danced the Salsa – 8, 8, 8, 8 = 32
  • Will and Nancy danced the Cha Cha Cha – 8, 8, 8, 8 = 32
  • Helen and Gorka danced the Foxtrot – 7, 8, 8, 9 = 32
  • Tony and Katya danced the Quickstep – 7, 8, 8, 8 = 31
  • Ellie S and Nikita danced the Foxtrot – 6, 8, 7, 8 = 29
  • James and Amy danced the Charleston – 6, 7, 7, 7 = 27

Who is in danger on Strictly Week 6?

Halloween Week is always a tricky one for Strictly because some times the theming / costumes can overshadow the dance itself, which means performances could be more memorable to the viewers than the the standard of dance – which means those at the bottom of the Leaderboard could be saved by the public if their performance value is strong (like Tony Adams has every week since Week 1). However, Tony did very well this week, and yet he is still third from bottom of the Leaderboard.

Meanwhile, there are a lot of ties on the Leaderboard, which makes the people in the middle more vulnerable yet again and might allow those near the bottom to escape the Dance-Off, as there are now much less points between those at the bottom and at the top.

This could pave the way for another shock Dance-Off. One thing is certain on this Halloween Week: Nobody is safe on Strictly Week 6.

Update Sunday, October 30: The Sunday night results show revealed that James Bye and Amy Dowden had to dance off against Fleur East and Vito Coppola. While the judges believed that both couples danced better on Saturday night, they unanimously saved Fleur and Vito. As a result, James and Amy were eliminated.
