Halloween of course is all about trick-or-treating, kids getting their hands on some sweet treats, and dressing up as their favorite characters. The holiday can also be spent watching Halloween movies.

While the holiday is also about all things scary, there’s plenty of films for the whole family to enjoy. So we’ve rounded up some movies everyone can enjoy with some popcorn and of course, candy.

Check out our list of G-rated productions below!

G -rated Halloween movies and where to stream them

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on Apple TV+

Who doesn’t want to spend the holiday with Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, and Snoopy? Released in October 1966, this film is a Halloween staple that has kept kids entertained for generations! Though the movie won’t air on television this year as it usually does, thankfully the Peanuts production can be streamed on Apple TV+.

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is all about Linus and his belief in the “Great Pumpkin.” No one else believes in the creature, so Charlie Brown’s best friend is set on a mission to show the gang that the Pumpkin is not a myth. And that includes spending the night alone in a pumpkin patch. What could possibly happen?

Monsters, Inc. on Disney+

You can never go wrong with a Disney movie, and that definitely applies to Monsters, Inc. Halloween is all about witches and monsters, and there’s no better creatures to spend the day with than Sully and Mike!

James P Sullivan, aka Sully, is one of the top scarers at Monsters Incorporated. He works at the largest scare factory with his scare assistant and best friend, Mike Wazowski. Sully is great at his job, but things take a surprising turn when little human girl Boo isn’t afraid of the blue fur creature, and ends up in the monster world.

The Little Vampire on Netflix

Netflix has a great variety of children’s content, including shows and movies for Halloween. One is the computer-animated film, The Little Vampire. The story is all about a 13-year old boy who offers to help a young vampire whose family is being targeted by a “merciless” vampire hunter, according to Netflix. The movie is a sweet story about how two different creatures can become friends.

Room on the Broom on Apple TV+

Room on the Broom first came out as a picture book by author Julia Donaldson, with illustrations from Axel Scheffler. The British children’s story is a popular one, and it was so great when the tale came to life in 2012. Actors Simon Pegg and Gillian Anderson lend their voices to the production, which is streaming on Apple TV+.

The half-hour animated film is about a kind witch who invites a number of animals to join her in the sky on her broom. Her cat thinks the flying vessel will get too crowded, but her new friends are there for the witch when she’s threatened by a fearsome dragon.

Halloweentown on Disney+

Last, but certainly not least, on our list is Halloweentown! The Disney Channel Original Movie has also become a holiday staple, as it’s played on the Disney Channel every year. It’s such a fun watch and if your kids like it, there’s three sequels that follow the first! All four films can be streamed on Disney+.

Halloweentown introduces us to Marnie and her siblings, who are in for a surprise when they follow their grandma to Halloweentown. The family finds out they come from a line of witches and the town is the only place where supernatural beings and creatures can lead a “normal life,” according to Disney. On her 13th birthday, Marnie finds out this big revelation, and will have to face an evil threatening to take over the world.
