In the months leading up to the release of Matthew Perry’s new memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, fans were counting down until they could finally devour all of his revelations, stories, and hilarious jokes. We also heard a few rumors after the book was announced that Perry might be opening up about a potential feud with his former castmates. While it doesn’t look like the actor ended up saying anything but kind words about the Friends stars in his tell-all, there’s one reason fans are speculating they had a falling out after all.

In case you missed it, rumors swirled around earlier this year that claimed Perry and Matt LeBlanc were no longer on good terms, and that the Chandler Bing actor didn’t feel supported by his former co-stars. Now that we’ve read the book, we know Perry feels very appreciative of the support the cast gave him during the show. But what about now, all these years later?

Did Matthew Perry have a falling out with the Friends cast?

Well, people speculate Perry is no longer friends with the main cast, which includes Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc, because they have not shown public support for his memoir. That’s right, all of their Instagram pages are void of congratulatory posts for Perry.

And although Kudrow wrote the introduction to Perry’s memoir, some think it felt kind of dry, pointing to the fact that she writes “good for you” at the end. Fans flocked to the comments section of the TikTok above to weigh in, with one person speculating: “I think they support him from afar because they know how troubled he is. But they aren’t calling him to hang out.” Another wrote, ‘I mean, they aren’t friends [in real life] anymore, the show stopped 20 years ago and Matthew continued to suffer and drifted from them.”

Others, however, refuse to believe Perry isn’t getting support from the Friends cast behind closed doors. “Real friends support silently. They don’t need to make a statement,” one person wrote, while another said, “they are not known for posting stuff about it. I mean it took over 20 years for an interview reunion.”

Of course, the cast of Friends knows better than people on the internet just speculating. But we have to admit it is interesting the actors have been silent on the memoir on social media. Maybe it’s nothing, but it’s surprising nonetheless.

Next. Matthew Perry’s net worth is still huge despite not landing an acting role in years. dark
