Monday, Nov. 7 was mixed with a regular and irregular schedule. How did the live TV ratings fare with some big shows off for the night?

After taking Monday off for the most part last week for Halloween, the majority of shows were back on the air this week. Not everything, though. The Good Doctor had a night off while CBS aired reruns throughout the night.

It’s worth noting that the reruns of NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii still performed better than some of the shows on FOX and NBC. This could be concerning, but we know that both those networks are benefitting from shows airing on Hulu and Peacock the day after.

All American down and Quantum Leap up in the live TV ratings

The first time slot of the night saw most shows back to normal. 911 returned with an episode that involved a potential curse, which was the perfect case for the week after Halloween. It was up almost 1.5% in the demo, winning the night. The audience was down 1.5%, claiming the top spot out of all scripted shows.

While NBC and ABC had two hours of scripted shows, All American returned on The CW after a night off. It was down 36% in the demo and 32% in the audience. It’s very hard to say what The CW is going to do, especially with the recent news that only maybe a couple of shows may survive the biggest cull the network has seen.

In the next hour of the night, All American: Homecoming was down 23% in the demo and almost 10% in the total audience. Again, it’s hard to say what will happen, although usually we’d say the series would be safe.

Meanwhile, The Cleaning Lady was up 25% in the demo and 14% in the audience. I think, like 911, this series is safe on FOX. It is one of the stronger shows.

In the final hour, only NBC had a new episode of regular programming. Quantum Leap was up 21% in the demo and 10% in the total audience. We know this show is performing well in delayed ratings, too, so I’m expecting to see it renewed.
