What is the Lifetime movie Reindeer Games Homecoming about?

The holidays are here! Lifetime is getting in on the fun with some Christmas joy. Among the line-up is Reindeer Games Homecoming.

The film follows MacKenzie “Mac” Graves, a Biology teacher in Vermont who’s carrying on her father’s memory through the town’s fundraising tradition, The Reindeer Games. He was a beloved fire chief and the heart of these festivities, so every year since his death Mac and her father’s former team compete to win the games.

This year, however, a wrench gets thrown into Mac’s plans. It won’t keep her out of the competition, but it has upped the stakes. In high school she had a crush Chase Weston who went on to become a Hollywood star. Though his career is starting to sunset, he’s still a pretty big deal.

In town visiting his pregnant sister and nephew for Christmas, Chase is roped into the games which sets off a competition between him and Mac. The two are vying for the Kris Kringle Cup but as things heat up between them, Chase realizes that he wants to win the games and Mac’s heart, too.

Reindeer Games Homecoming Lifetime release date

The movie premieres Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime. If you miss Reindeer Games Homecoming‘s debut, it’ll re-air on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 12:01 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET. It’ll also be available to stream next day on mylifetime.com. The film is rated TV-PG. You can watch a preview, here.
