Do Cameron and Ethan cheat in The White Lotus season 2 episode 3?

Time for more chaos, because The White Lotus season 2 just released a new episode on HBO and HBO Max. The explosive dark comedy from Mike White features a batch of new characters this time around, with Jennifer Coolidge and Jon Gries also reprising their roles from season 1 as Tanya and Greg, respectively. We watch the hotel guests at the resort in Sicily as they argue, make mistakes, and show their true colors. It’s hard to root for anyone on a show like this, but it’s so entertaining!

Spoilers ahead for The White Lotus season 2 episode 3, “Bull Elephants.”

The White Lotus season 2 episode 3, “Bull Elephants,” is now out and it’s another wild ride. We get to see Tanya (Coolidge) try and deal with the fact that her husband is leaving their vacation for a few days, while Portia (Haley Lu Richardson) gets closer to Albie (Adam DiMarco) and his family. Lucia (Simona Tabasco) and Mia (Beatrice Grannò) need new men to hang out with now that Dom (Michael Imperioli) has decided he can’t spend more nights with them. And they’re in luck once Daphne (Meghann Fahy) and Harper (Aubrey Plaza) set off on a girls’ trip to Noto, leaving their husbands all alone.

At the start of the episode, Harper tells Ethan (Will Sharpe) that she’s going to start being nice to Daphne and Cameron (Theo James) despite not wanting to spend time with them. That declaration only comes back around to bite her, however, when Daphne invites her on a day trip to Noto that ends up becoming an overnight trip. Cameron and Ethan want to stay back to jetski and hang out at the resort, so that’s what they do.

During dinner, Cameron spots Lucia and Mia and it’s clear he wants to spend time with them. Ethan isn’t about it, however, and Cameron reveals he frequently lies to Daphne and doesn’t believe in monogamy, a.k.a. he’s a serial cheater. Gross! They end up taking ecstasy and getting really messed up and soon enough Lucia and Mia are in Ethan’s room with him and Cameron.

Unfortunately, both Cameron and Ethan cheat on their wives with the local girls. Cameron doesn’t hesitate getting handsy with Lucia as the girls dance around in the room in their underwear. While they start kissing on the couch with Lucia straddling Cameron, Mia comes over to Ethan and starts kissing him. They kiss for a few moments before Ethan realizes what he’s doing is wrong, and he stops.

Before the episode comes to a close, we see Ethan sitting down in the bathroom, regretting his actions while Cameron and Lucia start to have sex in the other room. Ethan’s phone starts vibrating as Harper tries to call him. He doesn’t answer.
