Paramount+’s new series has a very impressive creative team behind it! Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan created and executive produced Tulsa King alongside Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Terence Winter, who takes on showrunner and writing duties.

Joining the two creatives behind the scenes on the crime drama are executive producers David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Allen Coulter, and Braden Aftergood. The premiere dropped Sunday, Nov. 13 on the streaming service. The nine-episode season will continue to release new episodes weekly.

Who stars in new Paramount+ series Tulsa King?

The leading man of the new series is none other than Rocky actor Sylvester Stallone! He takes on the role of “The General” and also serves as one of the executive producers on the project. Here is the full cast list:

Tulsa King introduces us to Dwight Manfredi, a New York mafia capo who has just been released from prison. It’s been 25 years and he doesn’t get the warm welcome from his “mob family” that he was expecting, Paramount+ shares. He’s exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he decides to build his very own criminal empire.
