Special Agent Kensi Blye has come a long way on NCIS: Los Angeles. She’d been a loose cannon, a woman with a chip on her shoulder who knew how to take care of herself and did so with a determination that screamed independence.

However, over the years, she’s embraced the family she’s built on the team, fell in love with Deeks, and now is finding her way as a foster mother to Rosa, the child she rescued in Guatemala. It’s been a tough road to navigate new parenthood without a guidebook or an example given her father passed and her mother wasn’t around.

But, like everything she sets her mind to, Kensi has leaped into her new role with an eye toward doing her best and being what Rosa needs even if she stumbles through it and makes mistakes. This storyline hasn’t finished, it’s only getting started, but some viewers are concerned about Kensi’s place on the team.

Is she leaving? Here’s what we know!

Is Daniela Ruah leaving NCIS: Los Angeles?

Let us put your minds at ease. Kensi isn’t going anywhere. She was away for training in episode 7, “Survival of the Fittest,” and it was up to Deeks to figure out how to take care of Rosa while she was sick and do his job.

Daniela Ruah, who plays Kensi, is listed among the cast for the fall finale, “Let It Burn,” which will premiere on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. IMDb also shows Ruah as part of the cast for the upcoming three-way crossover between the shows set debut Monday, Jan. 2.

Ahead of the season 14 premiere, Ruah sat down with TV Fanatic to discuss Kensi’s upcoming storylines and what she’d like to see the show revisit for her character. It’s clear that there’s more story to be told for Special Agent Kensi Blye. We’ll keep you posted if that changes but, for now, she’s still going to be kicking tail and taking names on NCIS: Los Angeles for the foreseeable future.
