Friends Thanksgiving episodes in order
Season 1, episode 9: “The One Where Underdog Gets Away,” was, of course, the very first Thanksgiving featured on the series. The gang ends up locked out of the apartment in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner after they go outside to watch the Underdog balloon fly away from a parade.
Season 2, episode 8: “The One With the List,” didn’t feature a Thanksgiving dinner, but we did see Ross making a pro and con list of dating either Julie or Rachel. Monica was also trying to prepare recipes using something called mockolate. It didn’t go well. So while it’s not a traditional Thanksgiving episode, if you want to see Monica trying to make this fake chocolate work for Thanksgiving recipes, go for it!
Season 3, episode 9: “The One With the Football,” is the Thanksgiving episode that featured their iconic football game.
Season 4, episode 8: “The One With Chandler in a Box” was probably one of the best episodes. After kissing Joey’s girlfriend, Kathy, he must repent by spending Thanksgiving in a box.
Season 5, episode 8: “The One With All the Thanksgivings,” is the one that gave us Chandler and Monica’s first I love yous and the raw turkey dance. It came after we got flashbacks of them in their younger years.
Season 6, episode 8: “The One Where Ross Got High,” if you remember anything about this episode, just remember Rachel’s trifle and Ross and Monica’s parents learning more than they wanted to about their kids.
Season 7, episode 8: “The One Where Chandler Doesn’t Like Dogs” focuses exactly on what the title states. It’s also in this episode that Rachel brings her new boyfriend, Tag, to Thanksgiving dinner and Ross tries to play a game where he names all 50 states.
Season 8, episode 8: “The One With the Rumor,” featured Jennifer Aniston’s then husband Brad Pitt. He played Will, an old friend of Monica’s who apparently hated Rachel in high school.
Season 9, episode 8: “The One With Rachel’s Other Sister,” brought on Christina Applegate as Rachel’s sister, Amy.
Season 10, episode 8: “The One With the Late Thanksgiving,” was the final one since, obviously, it was the final season of the show. Despite convincing Monica to prepare dinner even though she was busy with her adoption journey, everyone is late due to other commitments.
