Why is Strange World rated PG?

The MPAA gives the movie Strange World a PG rating. The film is geared towards children but you can bring the entire family to watch this movie. Since it’s a Disney movie, you can be sure that there isn’t much deviation from what we usually see in a film of this genre.

This is definitely a kid-friendly movie but it’s also an action-adventure so you may see some characters getting hurt. There’s also a plot point where The Clade family are locked away when they pose a threat to the status quo.

The movie provides positive representation for LGBTQ+ youth as well. Viewers will see a family navigating how to be honest with each other, encouraging different generations to understand each other and seeing a parent-child relationship be repaired.
